Northeast Sod, Inc. operates two text-messaging programs. Hiring text program: if you consent by checking the optional box on our job application form, we use your mobile number only to communicate with you about your application. That checkbox is the only way to opt in to the hiring program; it is never pre-checked, and consent is not a condition of applying. Customer text updates: customers can opt in either by texting our customer number, (845) 378-4763, and replying YES when our reply asks, or by checking the never-pre-checked box on our text-updates sign-up page. Consent is not a condition of requesting an estimate or of purchase. Messages are about your own sod project (scheduling, day-before reminders, a heads-up with a tracking link when the crew is on the way, a note when the job is done). Occasional marketing messages, such as seasonal offers, are a separate, optional choice made with their own never-pre-checked box on the sign-up page; texting us first never opts you in to marketing messages. For both programs: message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
